The link below provides access to a view-only Google Drive folder which contains scans of the old lantern slides (projected by a ‘Magic Lantern‘) used for decades by Classics professors at DePauw. The original slides were catalogued and scanned by student intern Sydney West in the summer of 2023, and exist still in department storage. The slide numbers in the filenames of each scan correspond to the number of the original physical slides in storage.
First in the folder is a PDF that lists all of the 1651 images. Search this using keywords. After collecting the slide numbers of such a search, a user can then access the .jpeg images in the corresponding sub-folders.
